15. TeamLab "Future Amusement Park"

The new media art team from Japan and 15 Chinese artists from different fields created the "Future Amusement Park" exhibition. In this exhibition, art and people intermingle to create more possibilities. In many cases, spoon-feeding art education eliminates children's sense of art, and the concept of "amusement park" in the exhibition can just restore the audience's emotional experience of art, rather than blindly pursuing "understanding".

At the opening ceremony yesterday Mr. Matsumoto Mina — representing TeamLab Japan — explained the inspiration and significance of this art exhibition. He said:

“TeamLab focuses on exploring the relationship between people and positive possibilities. We hope that by experiencing the fun of creative activities, people can be more creative in their daily lives.”

To this end TeamLab designed and built an immersive dream world, a future amusement park that blends nature, creativity and art. The different installations are "Graffiti Nature - Mountains and Valleys", "Painted Towns", "The Story of the Ancient Spirits", "Genius Hopscotch", "Fruit Garden Slide" and "The Light Ball Orchestra".
