22. Refective statements

This is a project I started thinking about a long time ago, I am a very nostalgic person who likes to hoard things. I've always believed that there is a story that spans time between every object and its owner. But today's fast-paced life often makes people ignore these things, and many people discard old or unnecessary items at ease, which causes great waste. After I came to the UK, with the large number of second-hand shops and second-hand websites and the idea of ​​reusing old things rekindled my idea for this project. I hope that through these objects people can gain insight into themselves and the emotional value of objects.

At the beginning of the project, I expected it to be huge. During the communication with my teacher, I also realized my weak spots time and time again. It is far from enough in terms of data collection, and I am still working on data collection. There are also some in-depth stories about objects and people. I will use my vacation time to make some new questionnaires and organize some vintage objects story sharing sessions and other activities to deeply study the relationship between people and vintage objects, and collect their emotional value.

I would like to thank the teachers for their comments and suggestions on my project. I will seriously reflect on my shortcomings and continue to improve this project.
